I would suggest go stick with NIT Trichy Mechanical. NIT Trichy has a better placement record than NIt Surathkal.

Also the kind of industry exposure you might get in Trichy, from the near by BHEL Manufacturing Shop Floor, cannot be had from Nit Surathkal
