i am alotted economics at kanpur...and satisfied wid that...if i am alloted a diff. branch in 2nd round ...i am able to go in economics or not...if not, can i lock it as my final branch...

If you surrender your Economics seat only then you can be eligible to take the seat you get in the second round of Counselling !!
