sir what is d procedure for ii allotment.....what if i dont get a seat of higher preference in the next allotment....as m not willing to get what is offered in the first alotment...my rank in iit is 3356...

For your rank 3356 there is almost no chance of getting a better course in the second round as very few people drop the course among the top 4000 rankers , if you are not interested in the course offered to you in the first round then i STRONGLY RECOMMEND you not to join it and instead go for any other college in which you are getting course of your choice so that you dont have to regret later doing something you dont like and start hating studies and screw your career.If you go for 2nd round by paying the fees and later dont get anything better,then you wont get your fees back as it is NON-REFUNDABLE and you will also be blocking a seat of another deserving candidate.
