is it better to take four year B.Sc program in mathematics and scientific computing in iit kanpur or Csc,mechanical in bits pilani???

No, Absolutely Not !!

BITS-Pilani(CSE/Mechancial Engg) is better than B.Sc Program in Mathematics & Scientific Computing @ IIT-Kanpur !!

It is hard to lose IIT-Kanpur but BITS-Pilani(CSE/Mechanical Engg) is definitely better than it !!

So go for BITS-Pilani(CSE/Mechanical Engg) boldly !!

CSc, Mechanical in BITS PILANI is much better as compared to B.Sc. Mathematics and Scientific Computing in IIT Kanpur.

IITs are known for their engineering courses,so i would STRONGLY recommend you to join Bits PILANI CSE (else mechanical) as BITS pilani and old iits are almost the same in standards.
