sir, i just want to know that which should get more prefference new iit or nit. As my rank in jee this year is 8219. is there any chance of getting old iit.. if not then what should more prefference nit or new iit.. MY rank in aieee this year is 7187. please give me your advice.. Waiting for ur reply.

I am sorry to say this, but I dont think you can make it any IIT through your rank, I dont suggest you to take up NIT too, I have a better idea for you, those guys who cleared JEE and didnt get alloted anywhere can apply to the college directly later, when the colleges { IITs } try to fill up the vacant seats, ithen its a first come first serve basis and if you stay in contact with seniors in the colleges, u can get a good branch of ur choice quite easily :) You can contact me on this on sukhendra.wizkid@gmail.com or 07209736303

i suggest you go for some core branch at new iits....

THEY are still IITS....but make sure you get core branch
