I got selected in IIT with air-7928 and obc-1226.Iam thinking of opting civil in IIT-M.I just want to know about average salary of the students last year and the list of campus recruiters of the civil department. Or can i go for bits-pilani {Mechanical} . which one is better.Iam totally confused.Pls help me..........

i too have the same doubt ...as i m easily getting in iit-m civil eng.

but as i heard that civil has the highest scope with very high packages ..when we wud leave IIT in year 2014 .

but i m concerned with the FEES of bits pilani as it is very expensive there.pilani is also very very good.

You need to decide whether you want the IIT tag or not. If you are not crazy about it and like Mechanical more than Civil go for BITS. 

But if you want the IIT tag or like Civil more than Mech go for IIT.
