What should I prefer for M.Tech? Dirubhai Ambani College for Information and Communication Technology which has wonderful infrastructure and faculties, but is private or IIT Rajasthan where this would be 1st mtech batch but has an 'IIT' tag? DAAICT counselling is on 20th june in Gujarat.. n IIT Rajasthan's Written n Interview test is on 21st in rajasthan

as both the exams and counselling are in span of a day..i would suggest u to try hand on both f them..

looking for preference ..i would have taken DAAICT because its reknown and famous 

despite the IIT tag wont be there ..but this s fair deal

The problem is that in case I get selected for DAIICT, then they would take all my original documents, and I won't be able to sit for IIT Rajasthan written as they want me to bring my original douments there as well.. Apart from that counselling of DAIICT is on 20th in Gujarat while written of IIT Rajasthan is on 21st morning in Rajastha..  But as you say that preferring DAIICT seems a favourable deal, that does ease me a lot!

In contuniation of my question, I would like to seek your opinion regarding my chances at DAIICT. The batch of ICT would be of 50 students combining students from CS, EC, Electrical. But I have got merit rank of 88. They have called 350 students for counselling. Whats your opinion regarding my chances?
