sir i m confused between branch and iit. i want ur suggestion in this case that what is important between branch or rank of iit? i have two option to choose one is i can choose chemical or mining etc. in good(old 7) iits or i can choose civil,electrical..in new iits so tell me what should i have to prefer, i want to go in govt. sector.

one more thing,what isur openion about dual degree coures? compair this with above case.

sir please answer my question........

go with old iits dont think about new ones

whatever u r getting go for old iits.

For govt sector u need to have civil, mechanical and electrical branch.. even dual course would be better

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
