i got air 1046[obc] in iit and i will get nearly 220-230 marks in aieee and got air 290 [obc] in iist. which can i prefer considering my reservation??

aieee is the best choice... 

If u want to go for research or something then only opt for iist( but its absolutely free college even for fooding and lodging)

 You are getting great air in jee,so you should go for iit only!But if you are not getting course of your choice then you can go for nit/nsit/iiit or dtu,you may get any of them as per your aieee marks..best of luck!!!!

I think that you should really go for IIT's through JEE rather than going for a good NIT through your AIEEE !!!

ISAT score is pretty good too but if you really want to go as a scientist or resercher then prefer IIST !!

As an analyst i would readily go with my JEE marks & get a seat in IIT , that's the best way is see it !!
