i have completed my 11th std, now how do i prepare 4 my iitjee2012. in my 11th class i just focussed on basics and problems.since der is just only one more year how do i go about wid my topics and their application based questions. plzz help me out.

Problem solving should be your main focus along with theoretical understanding of concepts. Try to finish standard textbooks for all the three subject (twice if possible atleast for mathematics ) All the best.

IIT-JEE is the cherished dream of scores of Class 12 students across India. With less than four months to go for IIT-JEE 2011, preparations for the examination are sure to be turning frenetic.

The best way to deal with the pressure and the high expectations is through proper planning. Divide available time between the three subjects. Make a time schedule, chapter-wise and topic-wise. Make summary notes/ points to remember of all concepts topic/chapter-wise and flag the questions which are tricky or call for analytical skills.

This will help in quick revision a couple of days before or even on the eve of examination.

Students, who have to simultaneously prepare for the Class 12 board exams and IIT-JEE, should start concentrating on Class 12 portions and the corresponding IIT-JEE chapters about 21 days before the board examination. However, the flame should be kept burning even for Class 11 chapters by way of revision till the start of the board exams.

After the board examinations, focused and concentrated revision of both Class 11 and Class 12 portions should be undertaken.

The right approach for those attempting the examination for the first time is to be loyal to one source. Don’t hope to read all the books/study material flooding the market. Study packages, IIT-JEE archives, review packages, workbooks, AITS/AIITS series offered by FIITJEE are good starting points.

Take a short break of 5-10 minutes after every hour of serious study. Complete relaxation during the break will recharge your batteries for another intensive spell of serious study.

physics: by now, u shud hv cmpleted class 11th topics from hc verma. do not keep any doubts as physics is the most easiest and most scoring subject. in 12th, u shud all topics from complete hc verma in jee syllabus. alongside, u may solve resnick halliday walker . dont bother to solve each and evry prob from ncert, just pick up the cocepts from theory part. for advanced problems u may solve irodov.

phy. chem: solve p bahadur

org. chem: be very clear about mechanisms of evry ren. follow org chem. by morrison and boyd.

inorg. chem: its very hard to remember he facts but can be memorized thru regular readings of the same facts. solve "advanced problems in inorg. chemistry by vishal joshi". available very easily in kota, by far the best bk i have seen.

maths: try to solve ncert thoroughly and if possible, try to solve sheets given at bansal classes, kota, the complete and comprehensive material(they dont leave a single topic from which question has not been made).

besides, in class 12th, i solved monthly spectrum magazine of all 3 subs. as the usual pattern there is that they give one topic from class 11th and one frm 12th. so 11th topics are revised thoroughly.
