NITs have increased the intake by 54%. Do you think it will cause any harm to its brand name? Earlier the last fellow(GM) to get a seat in EEE through state quota in NITK was 9000 and now it has increased to 28000.

NIT have increased the seats but with this they are also recruiting the faculties to meet the requirement of the standard which the NIT have Globally. So, Don’t think there will be such the problem which will exist. Being the Institute of National Importance like IIT’s they are fully funded by Central Government.
