it is when we increase temperature that solid changes to liquid and liquid changes to vapourthe atmosphere contains vapour.why dont we feel the high temperature of it????

As the atmospheric temperature remains constant, the change in internal energy of vapour remains zero.thus it doesn't transfer energy to us and thus we do not feel the high temperature of it.

if u place ur hand close 2 point where steam is generated u may even burn.

 but far apart it gets diffused becoz of small amount of vapour with high temp u r producing.

and air doesnot contain only water vapours it contains many other gas most haviong low vaporization point.

so u dont feel the heat much.

It is a simple logic that air ot only contains water vapour,,, but also some other gases that have a very low boiling point..... so they evaporate even at a loe temp........ and so we dont feel any heat.......Smile
