CAN FORCE AND AVG VELOCITY BE NEGATIV??

WHY?

EXPLAIN

force and velocity cannot be negative. these are magnitude QUANTITIES . the magnitude shows the amount and thus cannot be negative. in physics negative sign with them shows their direction only as these are vector quantities. suppose  a car is moving with speed v towards right side then its velocity is +v. but if to left side we use -v just to show opposite direction. similar with force too.

Force and avg velocity are vector quantities.... and so any vector has a magnitude and a direction..... by putting a - sign, you only reverse the direction of the vector....no change in the magnitude........
