B.tech software engineering is a good option and have very better future prospects for talented persons.. But as far as placements are concerned can u tell me in which college u r getting software engineering???

R u talking abt DTU which is offering Software Engineering from this academic session.. DTU have very good placements, but the placements were poor this year due to recession and will be good in future.

If u have interest in software engineering then u must go for this course..

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
