NO, its not but the way is to be different you need to pay attention to your NCERT syllabus only till class Xth. But dont learn the syllabus by heart just do a carefull reading of ur NCERT books of Science and Maths. And then from the very beginning of class XI u can strt extra
books with NCERT.And if you will follow good time table and lots of hard work then u will definintely get a good rank,
