 i heard a lot about the placement in lpu and it seemed to be true about their progressive chart of getting their final or 

pre-final year student placed. Checking the record of their placement last year was really good and even at time of recession , lpu delivered a good percentage of campus placement.

 So, if you are getting your desired stream in lpu ..i think you must go for it and future holds strong if you study in that manner to get rewarded.
