Is it true that through iit jee ranks one can get colleges like IIST or IISER?

Hi Sudhanshu !!
In case of IISER, they do accept IIT JEE score. If you clear the
cut-off for IISER 2011
, then you would get a call for counseling. But for this, you need to apply online, on their site.
However, IIST conducts its own entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses. You can check the details on their official site.
