HBTI kanpur is a better college as compared to technical studies . HBTI is one of the oldest technical instiute in India and it is one of the best institute in UP. HBTI has gt experienced faculty and good infra as compared to aligarh muslim university. Also, it has been many times placed in the top 25 engg institutes , acc to many surveys. So, I would suggest u to opt fr HBTI .
