one mark is deducted for -ve marking

The negative marking is not fixed, it changes... For that, you need to read the instructions in the beginning...
Usually, in single option correct and in paragraph type questions, the marking scheme is +3 -1.. that is -1 for every wrong answer
in multiple options, there is no negative marking..
in integer type also, there is no negative marking...
and in match the following, there is no negative marking with +2 for every correct answer...
