SGSITS is placed way below most of the NITs and obviously most of the NITs would be a much better choice over SGSITS , coz NITs are nationally reputed institutions and also are known for their experienced faculty and good infrastructure.

Moreover , u are getting civil engg. in SGSITS which although has a good scope ahead , but there are still many branches much better than that.  If u are strongly determined to do Mtech then u can go for the GATE xam to enter to IITs for Mtch after ur graduation . Although some of the NITs are considered below to SGSITS , but u need to balance the branch and college before getting admission.
