Hi

MTech is for specialisation in a specified area that u have done as a basics in ur B.Tech degree. Doing an M.tech from India is not much rewarding. If u want to do MBA , then IIMs are gud , but fr M.Tech , try the foriegn universities. If u do a course in Electronics & instrumentation in ur B.tech , then u can get ur M.Tech in it after that. Ur M.Tech degree should be related to ur B.Tech. Its just a specialisation.

The aim of the MTech programme is to train the students in high level theoretical knowledge which enables them to tackle practical complex problems of design and development in the industrial field as well as pursue further academic achievment through research. Enough flexibility is provided in the structure of the programme in respect of lecture courses and project work to help the students to achieve the above mentioned aim.
