hows the career growth in branches like mech. or civil...if we do dem from IIT??

whts the average package range....and hike in salary on an average...in both feilds.?

mech is an evergreen branch i.e. job opportunities are much more in mech as compared to civil, both of them wil fed u enough money to survive ( around 6 lakhs/annum )...and growth depends on ur work experience and quality of work u bring to the table.. so it varies from person to person...

mech / civil engg. works as an engg in manufacturing companies or u can take soft/consultancy job ...prospects of growth are different for every company..
