what is the difference in engineering in iit,nit,and other all engineering college.

i.e, What degrees will students get in above respectively ?

Is the difference only in way of teaching ?

Dear Karike,

You can pursue engineering in IIT, NIT or any other engineering college. The difference comes not only in way of teaching, but also in other aspects like different extent of exposure, different level of opportunities, different culture. The surrounding culture creates a large impact on person's thinking ability and in developing skills. That's why everyone wants to do it in the best college.

In engineering, students will get B.Tech degree from IIT or NIT and B.E. degree from other engineering colleges.
