Is doing MSc Chemistry at IIT Mumbai good ?..what are the future prospects ?..how much is the competition ?..I am of OBC category..what rank should I get to do that ?Thank you ! ^^

Its definitely a gud option when u don't have other options like cs, elec in iit's...regarding futute prospects i will say that it depends on u as u can choose whichever field u r more interested in like non technical or technical. I have seen msc chem people working in software n consultancies rather than taking a research kind of job so, u can choose a job acc. to ur interest, packages are same for btechs n msc students. Regarding rank i think getting  a rank under 3000 in general category is considered to be safe, dont know about obc sorry.
