Robotics is a branch or some sort of specialisation after graduation? please tell about the crieteria for robotics?

1) robotics is not a branch. if u have knowledge in all the fields like mechanical, electrical , metallargy u can create our own robots. so u can choose mechanical for robotics. it is ver intresting subject prepare well all the best
