what is the meaning and significance of mass per unit lenth length per unit like these ets something like these in determining the center of mass of things and in my coaching they teach me how to find the the center of massbut im not able to understandis finding center of mass of things important? i m only want to learn center of mass and dont want to understand how it comes rply soon

Gravity force and many other force act at centre of mass due to which centre of mass is important. Although it is not important to understand the derivations of centre of mass but the concept of taking very small element and integrating it you have to understand which will help in solving many questions esp in electrostatic.
