if we dont get select in first attempt and we joined some other college and next year can we appear iit exam

Yes, you can definitely appear for the JEE even if you have not qualified in the first attempt, but there are just 2 attempts allowed at maximum. Even if u join some other college , u are eligible to appear in JEE, but if u enter any of the institutes that take admissions on the basis of your JEE score then u cannot go for the second attempt.

Like , if you go for any of the IITs , then u are not eligible for upgrading your branch or entering into any other IITs by giving the JEE again.
