Electrical Power is a branch offered to the students who clear JEE.. Only available at IIT Delhi this unique branch is quite similar to "electrical"..

The main difference being that electrical main stream is cnverned with mainy the machines or the components that operates at relatively lower voltage.. Exampple our house supply come under electrical mains...

but then there comes a stream to deal with components operated at very high voltages.. they may be at the Railway locomotives or even at your local electrical substation.. Distribution of electricity at large distances comes under this very stream of electrical power...

At IIT Delhi 3 years of B.Tech comprises of very similar topics for both the branches... the 4th year differs...

But then Its always a good option
