is it compulsary fr iitians to stay at hostel?

DEAR PRIYA,

No it is not compulsory for IITians to stay in hostel. In fact if you living within 25 sq km zone then you wont be provided hostel facility. As per my pesonal experience at IIT Delhi goes, You will love Hostel life. Life at hostel becomes the most memorable part of your life.
