I am working as a Software Engineer for 2 years after doing my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication. I would like to take a career shift to Electronics. Is going for an M.Tech the best way to have this career shift? Please let me know which specialisations in Electronics are in demand to get a job after the Masters? Also, please advise how can I get to a core company with graduation in Electronics and work experience in software industry?

yes doing an Mtech is the best option for you.

make sure that you do it more focussedly.

for a core company I think communications specialisation is best. but VLSI is also very blloming.
