dear sir,

my son has got iit jee rank 6492 (general category) but still he has not got seat in any iits. but there may be many students who must have refused the seats in iit & secured a place in other institutes. those seats must be vacant. is iit going to give chance for those vacant seats?

also by way of preparatory also many seats are not fille in. why iit is not giving chance to those eligible candidates from general category.

why iit is not transperant about seat allotment like aieee? whom should we ask for justice?

this year there was some problem with B.ARCH &B.Ds, those seats are filled in second round.

pl elaborate. my son is very depressed.

pl make all enquiries & help us.

Yea. Many sets in iits are vaccant every year.Its because students done fill choices of some branches like Msc chemistry , rather they prefer going to other colleges for good branches. And also as per rules every branch have some no.of seats should be only for categories.But students done get qualified.So those seats will be vaccant.

Yea there were many discussions about it.And many news papers have printed news about it.They are trying to improve in this.
