i'm appearing for IIT JEE 2011. i feel that i have not utilised my first year efficiently . now, i have 7-8 months before i appear to the examination. i want to know if this time is sufficient? and having 8 months in hand how many hours i need to study per day?

Dear vasudha,

Yes , it is suffient ... but you have to use it in a best way .... you decide yourself that how to cover the sllybus in these 8 months .. and focus only on the IIT JEE preparation for next 8 months ... do lots of practise and spend 7-8 hours atleast for the self study other than coaching and classes. keep in mind that focus and dedication are the key to success.. 

Believe in yourself and study hard.
