Should the father of the candidate attend the counselling or candidate's mother / brother can accompain the candidate?

Dear Nag,

Neither of the family member is required at the time of counselling but ya  almost 85% of the students are accompanied with their parents at the time of counselling. You can come with any of them ar all of them its completely your wish but if you have a family member , its just that you feel better at the time of counselling and if you have any family member with thw knowledge of diffirent streams of the IITs ar have been to counselling ever do try to bring him.
