my AIR is 5821 ...will i get ne b.Tech courses??how r Msc courses frm iits?i hope to get economics in kharagpur!wht abt branch upgradation!cn my branch will get upgraded frm Msc to ne btech course in iits??really confused!! :-( plz help!! shubham

Dear shubham,

At 5821 you will easily get into B.Tech courses, congrats for that and MSC courses are also good but not to the level of B.Techs.....

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
