my jee.iit reanking is 1924 and my aieee rank is 3200 with state rank 310(Delhi) i m from gen. What r chances of my getting gud br? Should i compromise with Br in IIT in favour of computers in NITs or DSE. Pls guide.

You must take up IIT with a little lower branch than going in for the best in any NIT. You must realise that the opportunities that an IIT offers is vastly different and much better than any other college in the country. Branch in an IIT is merely a formality, as you have the freedom to choose a lot of course in your curriculum by yourself. You could hence take courses in computer sciences or any other department of your choices in these (Called the elective and the breadth courses).
