Hi Sir I am getting into Chem.Engg.in Chennai.I want to know how high one should score in the first year for sliding.Also whether you are permitted to choose any branch or only the immediate higher branch in sliding.I am interested in trying for Mech. or EE at Chennai in sliding option.What r the chances.PL.advise.Thx.

Congrats for your result.
One needs to be  batch topper to be elligible for branch change. you can opt for any branch if you are eligible. For reason of contianing class strength(which can not be more than 10 %) number of changes to particular branch will be restricted.
