i hve got AIR2001 in jee 2010 , i hve choise of civil eng. in old iit's & computer eng. in new iit'S. which should i choose

I would advise you to take up any course in the old IITs over the courses in the new IITs. Both the placement opportunities and opportunities to enter research is brighter will be better at the older IITs, thanks to the reputation they have buit for themselves over the years. The new IITs will require some time to do the same.
