what is the scope of marine engg and naval archi from iit?

Ovcean Engineering and Naval Architecture, atleast from IIT Kharagpur has registered very good placements in the last two years. A lot of students are obtaining international placements from these departments in their core sector.

Obtaining PhD offers in these depatments from US universities seem good as the professors in these departments are very reputed and competition in the field is relatively lesser.
