sir..........with gen rank 7251 in iit 2010..........i think i ll get applied physics,applied geology,mathematics and computing.........sir can you tell me what are the scopes of these streams.................and whether i should go for them........or go for some engineering stream in nits.............sir plz do reply.......

Congrats on your Rank !!!!

 

You surely have scope of these branches . You can further do . M.tech and then get into Main Stream research and  R & D .

 

Apart from this you will also have an option to get better branches in New IIt's you will get branches like Chem. ,  Metallurgy , Textile Etc . 

 

If you get a good branch of your choice in NIT's you can surely go for it as some NIT's are better then some New IIT's
