I got 1553 in SC category.a) Does this means that I have got 1553 rank in all SC Candidates?b) which branch can I get with this rank ?(please specify the branch name).c) Is this a very bad rank?d) can I get aerospace, mechanical, electrical at any IIT?e)How many SC candidates were selected in IIT previous year?

Yes this is your rank in SC catagory .. you have got no rank in general catagory .. Getting aerospace, mechanical and electrical in any old IIT is difficult .. But you can get a good branch in New IIT. Currently, there exists a reservation of 15% for SC and 7.5% for ST candidates..
