can anyone clarify me if SC catagory candidate got 1399 rank which is catagory rank only the expected course and college where admission can be sought

You can get admission in old IITs .. you may not get the branch of your choice in IIT dellhi , bombay and kanpur .. but u ll surely get a decent  branch in old IIT
