i got 6691 rank .what can i expect ?is it possible to get admissions in older iits or i should prefer newer ones?

yes , you can get admissions in Old IIT but may not get the core branches like cse, ece .. I wud advise you choose old iit with branch of your interest .. as per the selection of good branch it all depends on wat are your interests .. Also i wud advise you to not to opt for new iits .. as they are not very eastablished in terms of infrastruture and eduction..better you opt for IT BHU and ismu .. or can go NITs if scored fine in aieee..
