Bits, Pilani vs New iits

I have secured 6401 rank in iit jee 2010. i wanted to know which is better bits pilni or new iits.

Hi, With this rank you will get old IIT but may not get branch of your choice.. And in between BITs Pilani and New IITs ..BITS pilani is better... BITS pilani is very old institute and it has seen tremendous growth and today BITS Pilani has established itself as one of the best institutes of Technical Education in India... My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
