Dear sonu

This is the latest news regarding reconducting of exam which i hope will answer your question

Delhi high court on Wednesday declined to stay declaration of this year’s IIT joint entrance examination results but asked the institutes to explain why so many mistakes had crept in during the all-India test.
A division bench of Acting Chief Justice Madan B. Lokur and Justice Mukta Gupta declined to stay declaration of IIT-JEE results but directed the IIT to explain in an affidavit how the mistakes had occurred.
‘‘Demonstrate to us the software with which you set these papers and also how the papers are scrutinised,’’ the court said when counsel for IIT claimed that their system was foolproof and of high standard.

The court directed IIT to file an affidavit by June 2.
The court was hearing a public interest litigation of an NGO that has sought a stay on the declaration of results for the exams held on April 11. NGO Satya Foundation had filed the PIL to raise the issue of errors in the instructions for the examinees who took IITJEE in Hindi.
Chetan Upadhyaya, secretary and counsel of Satya Foundation, on Wednesday submitted before the court a list of serious blunders in IIT-JEE 2010 and said that instead of accepting the faults and re-conducting the examination, the joint admission board was trying to cover up the issue with ‘‘corrective measures’’ which are ‘‘totally illogical and can’t be digested by anybody’’.

‘‘The IIT-JEE board evolved corrective measures on May 2 to ensure that genuine candidates were not affected by the examination errors. It formulated a pointby-point remedial action and posted the same on the IIT-JEE website,’’ Upadhyaya pointed out. IANS
