Aerospace engineering is the branch of engg behind the design, construction and science of aircraft and spacecraft. It is broken into two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. 

civil engg is one of the oldest and its available in almost all the IITs

As far as biotech is concerned. it is also a preferred branch...
