i am expecting 9000 rank in aieee.8000 in jee.what to do? this is my first attempt.whether to take a drop or join any nit and prepare for jee ?

Go for NIT .. NIT's are National institues and have weightage .. So better to choose for some good NIT with your choice of branch .. Dropping is not a very good idea .. and with 9000 you can easily get admission into some good NIT ..
