in the jee booklet it is written that in case all the seats reserved for sc students are not filled then some would be admitted to the preparatory course for 1 year by fiving a further 50% relaxation.

i want to know that if i fail to reach the aggregate cutoff by 4/5 marks then will i be eligible for it or will i be into EML rankings.

As the number of qualified SC candidates(1773) is more than the seats (1425) available in IIT's so this year there is no chance for preparatory course for SC candidates.
