Sir i am getting applied geology at iit roorki and kharagpur. and also i am getting mechanical branch in college of engineering pune. my rank for nit is 50000 to 60000. so now i am actually confused what should i take .should i go to iit but dont know whether i would get better placement their. AND ALSO I AM OBC NCL

Jst choose the IIT. Geology got less placements than core branches but they are not in the condition of devastation of your career. You’ll have lot of oppurtunities in public and private sectors but not at the level of CS or EC. All the best
