I want to know the maximum time limit available to complete an engineering course like B.Tech irrespective of the due 4 years time so that i am not awarded the certificate of Not Fit For Technical Education. Is the rule different for different states/boards? Kindly solve my query. It would be a great favour.

you need to complete btech in 4 years , thats the only time limit , and also , u can take anathor course called as integrated mtech , which offers btech and mtech both in 5 years , . 
and you cannot complete btech less than that time period .
