If you got 95 percentile this year, then my suggestion is take long term

You will definitely do best in your upcoming year if you do hard work.

Practice previous year questions many times..
Appear for a test series and analyse it properly (Giving 2–3 hours)
Revise your notes multiple times till they enter your soul :)
Find your strong points and chapters, work on them..
Solve other people’s doubts. It makes your own concepts very clear

Are core branches(Mechanical) in Top 3 NIT worth it ?

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
